Wye Fayre lineup expands

From the The Bolton News, first published Tuesday 22nd May 2007.

MORE acts have been added to the lineup for July's Wye Fayre festival.

Acts now confirmed on the bill include Ralfe Band, of Mighty Boosh fame.

They appeared as the three-headed fisherman band in the second series of the comedy show, and have been described by the Boosh's Julian Barrett as "psychopathic folk-waltz music... epic and peculiar and catchy as hell."

Also added to the festival line-up are Joan As Police Woman, Misty's Big Adventure, Luke Toms, Alberta Cross and Adem.

The festival boasts an eclectic line-up, including folk, rock, blues, roots, Americana, indie, electronica, psychedelia and raw grooves.

130 acts will take to five stages, and catering includes real ales, real lager, champagne and cocktails.

Wye fayre takes place at Withersdane Hall, Wye, in Kent, from Friday July 6 to Sunday July 8.

Tickets cost £25 for day tickets, or £45 for a weekend ticket, including camping, and can be booked from www.wyefayre.co.uk.
